Software QA Engineer
Qualification : BE, BTech, MCA, Msc
Rel Yrs of Exp : 7 – 12 Years

- Proven experience in designing test cases using different techniques such as state flow, ctrl flow, data flow, domain and specification-based strategy is essential.

- Programming and SQL knowledge essential
- Scripting background on Shell and PERL is an advantage.
- Knowledge and passion about testing and bug discovery is mandatory.
- Advanced Selenium web driver skills along with Test NG Framework experience is a PLUS.

Job Description
- Responsibilities: Development and / or QA roles in software product engineering.
- Break-down requirements and design / develop test cases meeting optimum coverage standards. This also includes test case discovery through situation reverse engineering beyond the realm of documented specifications.
- Carry-out execution across client, server (both web and legacy) architectures ,windows and non-windows platforms. Adequate contributions to upkeep of different environment profiles matching up the end customer as well as credible test data preparation and management is necessary.
- Perform systematic debugging of the transaction chain by tracing Data flow and control nodes, leveraging log extracts and other collaterals of the software. Diagnose /reproduce defects using minimal and just data set and test steps. Perform functional/regression/integration /performance and reliability test in adherence to in-house test standards, analyze and publish insightful test reports.
- Design, Develop, Maintain automation units (including legacy system) for the test operation sustenance. It encompass learning and running 3rd party (30%) and internal test tool ( 70%) constituting the overall spread. Contribute to continuous cycle of test coverage/customer use case, operational profile enhancement/enlargement to achieve quality objectives. Fully committed to work in an agile environment geared to fulfill customer /stakeholder’s expectation through product and patch releases.
- Create /update/Review knowledge documents periodically as well as contribution to the continuous product /process improvements is quite required. Extend collaboration to Solution Deployment team for successful role out and migration of software drops.
