Tribute Technology is an industry leader, and we are growing!! We are looking for a passionate, innovative contributor to help us ensure our industry-leading solutions continue to securely scale as we transition our SaaS and E-Commerce products to the next level and guide new customers to our cloud-based solution. You will be supporting innovative, secure, and high-quality SaaS based B2B2C and E-Commerce solutions in a highly competitive environment. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Customer Support, Professional Services, and customers to ensure our services in AWS meet our support and availability SLAs. You will support an engagement model with hyper-focus that matches Customer Experience with our transition to a cloud-based solution in an agile environment. This includes continuous uptime and continuous delivery while supporting ITIL based operations, compliance, security, and business continuity needs. This position reports to the Director of Cloud Operations. It is a hands-on position and requires participation in the various activities from planning through execution to meet the desired objectives. This is an opportunity to work in a rapidly evolving environment where you will contribute very significantly to Tribute Technology’s phenomenal growth.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Cloud strategy, standards and best practices associated with all aspects Cloud offerings
- Contributes to and support the corporate adoption of the DevOps methodology and Agile project management
- Provides expert level design and engineering support towards the successful delivery of IT’s cloud project portfolio
- Contribute towards continual service improvement activities related to the delivery of cloud services.
- ▪ Develop and implement internal systems, processes, and best practices to be used by other teams designed to increase productivity.
- Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost effectiveness and high availability in the cloud
- Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity architecture
- Create, implement, and maintain automation in the form of infrastructure as code for cloud platform solutions
- Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards
- Planning, designing, and developing cloud-based applications.
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security, and data privacy guidelines
- Participate in On-Call rotation
- Incident response determining resolution and root cause analysis
Qualifications:
- 7.5+ years’ experience in IT platform, storage, networking, and virtualization engineering
- 7.5+ years’ experience in the design & implementation of distributed applications (preferred)
- In depth, practical experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation,
- orchestration, trends, and industry-leading cloud vendor offerings
- Experience in architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions with security data privacy robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recover requirements
- 5+ years practical experience designing, building, and automating solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, Route 53, Lambda, IAM, Kinesis, ECS, ElasticSearch, SES (Simple Email Service) and API Gateway
- 4+ years’ experience working with cloud automation tools such as Terraform and Packer
- AWS CloudFormation experience is also a plus.
- 4+ years’ experience in building CI/CD pipeline automation in tools like Jenkins/Cloudbees with scripting languages such as Groovy, or Python.
- 4+ years practical experience working in DevOps team/organizations with applied Agile development practices
- 4+ years hands on experience with automated tooling such as Chef and Test Kitchen
- Hands on experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Experience managing Incident response and troubleshooting issues throughout the entire infrastructure stack.

- Maintains current knowledge of marketplace changes, technology changes, and client
- Businesses pertinent to cloud, server, storage, and network virtualization
- Possess a strong understanding of SDLC principles and processes
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high demand environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates strong customer service awareness and orientation
- Exemplifies leadership characteristics in support of client’s corporate objectives
- Ability to communicate effectively with levels of Senior Management
