We are seeking a Senior Investment Banking Associate to join a high-performing team specializing in complex financial transactions for middle-market clients. This role requires a deep understanding of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity and debt capital markets, and financial advisory services. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in executing deals, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the execution of M&A transactions, including drafting pitchbooks, performing financial analyses, and preparing transaction documents. - Conduct valuation analyses using DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company methodologies. - Develop and manage financial models to evaluate potential deals and strategic opportunities. - Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver tailored financial solutions. - Collaborate with senior management to structure and negotiate complex transactions. - Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, offering memorandums, and due diligence reports. - Mentor and guide junior analysts and associates, ensuring high-quality work and professional growth. - Stay informed of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity. - Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines. - Series 63 and 79 licenses (or willingness to obtain them).
