You'll be responsible for driving new revenue opportunities through the development of existing partnerships and the creation of new partnerships that lead to direct sales opportunities. This strategically important role will allow D&B customers to find new ways to realise value from D&B data and will allow D&B to explore and address new use cases in the context of Cloud Service providers such as ‘Snowflake, Google Cloud and Databricks’. You'll help to shape the future strategy of D&B’s business in relation to client digital transformation, connected to the long-term strategy of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- To represent D&B in a customer facing capacity across D&B’s traditional Lines of Business.
- You'll have a good understanding of complex data sales and integrated licensing and managed multi-dimensional relationships alongside direct and partner service offerings.
- Critically the candidate will understand the value proposition of cloud platform providers and be able to articulate the important role D&B plays in the overall success of a given program/project.
- Create consensus across sometimes conflicting business priorities.
- Ability to keep D&B front of mind and relevant with the worlds largest software and technology providers.
- Maximize D&B’s presence in the market by cultivating the critical contacts to extend and initiate relationships and build market awareness.
- Ensure business support functions are equipped to support the alliance, create and manage sales enablement, marketing and opportunity flows.
- Create clear reporting metrics to measure the long term success of the partnership.
- Identify new areas for D&B to explore with our partners for future growth and revenue wins
- Operate at a strategic (C+) level to align solutions to strategic priorities of key customers, bring together multiple stakeholders and construct compelling presentations, proposals and ROIs.
- Create and manage contracts with partners to protect D&B and grow the franchise.
Requirements
- Experience in managing data partnerships, software or have worked with consultancy firms creating solutions.
- 5+ years experience in direct sales and managed multi-million dollar relationships across multiple business lines.
- Demonstrable track record in managing complex strategic sales and managing multiple senior stakeholders.
- Consistent and sustainable record of over performance driven by new business success.
- Excellent negotiation, strong presentation skills, as well as written communication skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in an ever changing environment.
- A sound understanding of customer processes (marketing, compliance, credit and purchasing) and the relevant customer proposition within the specific area of expertise.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant industries and markets.
- Detailed knowledge of the Financial Services/Information technology sector is desirable but not essential
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
- Proven ability to strategically plan and develop revenue within target accounts and verticals.
- This is a hybrid role which will be based in our London, Paddington offices.
