Overview
To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain financial integrations between systems. The position includes regulatory reporting and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for finance projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving Financial IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends.
Responsibilities
Full life-cycle product and project implementation and support
Contributor to project planning/scope refinement/scheduling
Manage assignments/timelines/deadlines/quality
Ensure successful project implementation
Manage Scope of assigned responsibility
Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
Ensure the security and integrity of system and product delivery solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices
Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Strong hands-on experience integrating metadata and cloud source data to an Oracle EPM
Strong hands-on experience with Automated reconciliations (e.g. Oracle, cloud based financial close, or similar)
Strong hands-on experience with Java, SQL, sourcing data, and building integrations.
Strong hands-on experience with agile delivery framework
Effective database and presentation software skills
Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Desired Qualifications:
Financial and regulatory reporting experience (i.e. Workiva, Oracle, or similar)
Experience with technical accounting
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
