We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer who can design, implement and maintain our internal applications and services, used globally throughout Sportradar.
THE CHALLENGE
- Collaborate and propose tehnical architecture and implementation of new products and services
- Lead a team of Platform Engineers responsible product supporting infrastructure and internal services
- Communicate with other tribes inside our company to provide best-in-class solutions and support
- Search, select and/or implement new tools that benefit our company globally
- Keep things running by continuous monitoring, alerting and constant improvements
YOUR PROFILE
- Have a Bachelor Degree or Masters in computer science or any other natural science major or equivalent experience
- Good written and spoken business English
- Willingness to learn new technologies and share technical knowledge
- Want to learn more about cloud providers and their services
MUST HAVE SKILLS
- Background in Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian preferred)
- Team Management
- Scripting or programming experience (Python, Go, Rust, ...)
- Good communication and organizational skills
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
- Experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure or GCP
- Hands-on experience with cloud provisioning tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure RM, ...
- Knowledge around monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, ...
- Container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.
