2+ years of experience supporting Business development work for government contractor (ideally in Federal or DoD)
Solid understanding of business development lifecycle from initial prospecting through post-award transactions
Strong understanding of teaming arranges including mentor proteges, CTAs, and Join Ventures
Strong understanding of the capture process
A bility to understand technical requirements and reconcile them against company capabilities
Capable of prioritizing responsibilities, managing time appropriately, and operating independently
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Strong customer service and people skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow in the Business Development field
Go Getter attitude
DUTIES:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration and partnership obligations of the company s various Joint Ventures (JVs)
Support BD, Capture, Proposal, & Technical solution duties if/when necessary for various opportunities in pursuit that derive from joint ventures
Contribute to customer engagement, intelligence gathering, win themes, competitive analysis, partnering, and solution development for Joint Ventures
Assist with proposal development including content development, graphics development, color team reviews, and staffing plans
Assist with bid activities as required including pricing models, competitor analysis, and price-to-win scenarios
Tactically executing the terms of operating agreements (updating backlog, conducting pipeline reviews, assisting with marketing, maintaining credentials/clearances as required, etc.) between partner companies in pursuit of growth goals.
Collaborate with growth team to facilitate various capture activities for deals pursued by JVs such as industry events, white papers, capabilities matrix, customer engagement, subcontractor partnering, etc.
