ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position will be within Fluence’s software engineering team working on the
Nispera Asset Performance Management (APM) platform. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on maintaining and refining the underlying software infrastructure of the platform. You will be working on a variety of tasks involving AWS cloud services, cyber security, workflow orchestration and backend programming
Key responsibilities include
·Desing, implement and maintain software (backend)
·Maintain and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance and scalability
·Develop and implement infrastructure as code to streamline deployment processes and enhance system efficiency
·Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines, facilitating seamless and automated software delivery.
·Maintain and enhance cybersecurity best practices and procedures to safeguard our systems and data
·Foster a culture of excellence by nurturing talent and conducting effective code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
Must have
·BSc or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field
·5+ years of professional working experience in software development
·Solid programming skills in at least one scripting language
·Extensive hands-on experience in developing and optimizing cloud infrastructure
·Comprehensive skills in Linux including system administration capabilities
·Experience in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
·Experience in containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
·Relevant AWS training/certifications
·Micro-services knowhow
·Knowledge of the energy industry with focus on renewables
·Experience in working and delivering products and services in agile environments
