Salary: $100,000 -125,000/year
As a Project Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of manufacturing projects. Utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Project, you will develop and manage detailed project schedules, track progress, and coordinate with various teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Responsibilities- Schedule Development and Management: Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project. Develop timelines, resource allocation plans, and critical path analyses to ensure project objectives are met.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and update schedules based on changes or new information.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions. Ensure that all project milestones are met in accordance with the established timelines.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project status reports, including schedule variances, forecasts, and performance metrics. Communicate updates and potential risks to project stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and utilization, ensuring that all project resources are efficiently utilized and any conflicts or shortages are addressed promptly.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all scheduling activities comply with federal regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving scheduling processes and tools. Implement best practices and contribute to the development of new scheduling methodologies.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within a federal manufacturing or similar industry. Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Project is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
