About the Role
We are looking for a stellar Enterprise Account Executive with a proven track record of hunting net new enterprise accounts, from identification and opportunity sourcing to closing enterprise SaaS agreements through value selling.
Success will look like:
- As a trusted sales expert, you will consult with prospective enterprise customers across North America territory to understand their needs and deliver Whatfix's value proposition
- Manage a long and complex sales cycle from demo to negotiation and closing the deal
- Drive high engagement and demonstrate value realization & ROI of Whatfix
- Build Brand awareness in the customer community
- Leverage your network to generate & execute on pipeline
- Obtain knowledge of products and any emerging competitors
- Meet or exceed regional sales targets
- Ensure the two-way flow of relevant and timely information
- Anticipate and resolve challenges before the prospect
- Have a Customer Must Win attitude
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales development, solutions consulting, marketing & product
- Travel 25-50%
Requirements
- 7+ years of SaaS Enterprise Sales experience, with a proven ability to hunt, negotiate, and close new business deals with Fortune 500 enterprise clients
- Outbound sales experience - cold calls, emails, events, etc. with prospective customers
- Ability and history of closing accounts with values ranging from $50,000 - $500,000+ ARR
- Strong executive presence and ability to develop executive-level (CxO) relationships and lead strategic initiatives with customers
- Have sold as a challenger in a market (to a nascent category in the Hype Cycle)
- Experience presenting and demonstrating SaaS products at industry events
- Experience in opening doors and selling to buyers from CRM, HR, Learning, and Development, Procurement, and/or IT for Software Applications in a complex sales cycle
- Obsessed with details both in research and maintaining an accurate CRM
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Planning-You use Account Planning and common Sales methodologies (MEDDICC) to achieve a consistent track record of over-achievement, exceeding quota, and high performance
- Intellectually curious, proactive, and self-sufficient learner, both about what you are selling and uncovering the enterprise-level problems your customers need to solve.
- Cross-cultural - you enjoy working with many types of people across multiple geographies and languages

This role requires working onsite at our San Jose office five days a week. The daily working hours for this role begin at 6:30 am; days will start at home, and then make your way to the office (e.g., after dropping off kids at school or after rush hour traffic). Relocation assistance is offered.The salary range for this position is 260K-300K OTE, with a split between the base and variable and an uncapped incentive plan. Compensation will be determined by factors such as level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
