Systems Engineer II - Secure Processing Solutions (Onsite)Our nation's security depends on the sacrifice of the men and women who defend our country. For them to do this effectively, they need the technology that keeps them a step ahead of their adversaries. The Secure Processing Solutions (SPS) department is responsible for the design, test and certification of secure mission computers, cross domain technologies, and cryptographic products which equip our warfighters to thrive in today's multi-domain battlespace. Our department collaborates with portfolio teams across the organization to help capture new business and create security hardened solutions that address our customers' demanding needs.
The SPS Systems Engineering team is seeking a Systems Engineer who has a passion for innovation and the drive to see new technology and capability matured into fielded solutions. This role will contribute to a team that is responsible for systems and cyber security engineering tasks related to our next generation mission computing technologies, maturing product from a low TRL through program of record accreditation and factory production.

What YOU will do:- YOU will work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals and other internal/external stakeholders while executing system engineering development activities for the modular blade computing product as a subsystem within the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) program.
- YOU will have the opportunity to participate in the secure systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.
- YOU will gain experience with open system architecture development, this includes systems, software, and hardware engineering.
- YOU will contribute to the development and cadence of AGILE execution plans that are in compliance with the SAOC program cost and schedule needs; understand risks and variances and assist in the development of mitigation plans; become 100% involved in the day-to-day execution of the modular blade computing product development.
- YOU will participate in and facilitate Agile team ceremonies, Agile sprint reviews, user story refinement and end of sprint product demos.

Basic Qualifications:- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
- Travel expectations up to 10%.
Skills you must have: - Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment and being part of highly integrated Agile teams working closely with multiple engineering development teams (SW, HW, Cyber, SYS).
- Experience with system design, requirements management, interface definition, integration and test.
- Experience in Systems Engineering process development and deployment.
- Experience using the Atlassian resource suite, specifically: Jira and Confluence
Skills we value:- Active U.S. DoD security clearance
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and tools such as Magic Draw Cameo, Enterprise Architect, SysML, or similar resources.
- Systems engineering experience executing development of security hardened systems/products within a classified development environment.
- Recent and relevant experience with the secure systems engineering development process including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification, and validation.
- Systems support to software application development, hardware development, application integration.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
