We are seeking a Business Development & Strategy Lead in New
York City, NY, Philadelphia, PA, or Houston, TX, to lead and work on various Power and Renewables (P&R) projects. We will also consider other major AtkinsRéalis locations across the US. The US Power & Renewables Team is part of the Program & Project Services (P&PS) Business Unit within AtkinsRéalis USA, which focuses on projects for private clients in the Energy sector and comprises two groups: Power & Renewable, Design & Engineering and Project - Program Services in Energy.

About you:The role of the Regional Business Development Manager provides project management and project controls services to major energy companies and utilities. You will bring your knowledge of the market and client relationships and work with the team to further develop and provide actionable detail to the P&R Growth Strategy for your region.
How your experience will contribute to the team:- Execute the plan for the P&R Growth Strategy in your region and maintain the team's focus on the agreed strategy.
- Be proactive and work to penetrate real or perceived barriers to client engagement. Be willing to work independently until specific actionable intelligence is generated to engage greater organization.
- Market the AtkinsRéalis brand within target accounts and regional market and develop market data that can be utilized to find new service outlets.
- Mine public databases and other market intelligence to find opportunities in selected accounts.
- Engage and identify key clients and develop a working relationship with them. Develop and implement a proper customer engagement plan. Identify, create, and efficiently manage key client relationships.
- Participate in the development of the annual and strategic plans.
- Drive the complete BD/Sales cycle with our clients, from initial lead identification and Go/No-Go assessments through bidding, negotiation, risk review and contract closure.
- Work with the Bid Teams for creating suitable proposals. Support and participate in project proposal preparation and related client meetings.
- Identify and work toward the resolution of client relations problems.
- Maintain visibility and professional profile by participating in professional and associated industry organizations.
Role Requirements:- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration plus 15 years' relevant experience and proven track record in sales.
- Without a degree, 20 years of relevant experience is required in addition to appropriate knowledge and skills.
- Technical knowledge of the services provided in assigned area is preferred.
