This position provides consultative, marketing, and analytical support to AAA clubs and its partners throughout the U.S. It is a multifaceted position that requires seasoned soft sales skills and marketing expertise in multiple business areas (travel, insurance, financial services, retail, CRM, and membership) and technical knowledge of data analysis methodologies (segmentation, customer journey mapping, business intelligence, geospatial analysis, and customer metric development).
Duties & Responsibilities:- Establish new customer club relationships while maintaining existing relationships with customer clubs by assessing needs and recommending solutions available through the Action Center.
- Provide consultative support to AAA clubs and partners on the development, management, and deployment of custom analytical projects
- Serves as client expert for customer analytics, segmentation, multi-channel journeys, Predictive Intelligence, advanced analytics, CRM, and business intelligence.
- Work effectively with all organizational levels (marketing practitioners, business analysts, middle management, and senior leadership).
- Provide leadership and strategic planning in developing information-based marketing/business initiatives for AAA clubs and partners.
- Requires single or cross-business line integration of transaction-based data (travel, insurance, financial services, POS, membership, etc.).
- Create channel optimization strategies to drive the right message to the right customer at the right time.
- Develop execution plans for client initiatives, including requirement definition, timelines, testing, measurements, and production roll-out.
- Support clubs during program execution, including results review, interpretation, and reporting on findings; or collaborate with outside providers on behalf of clubs or National departments on analytic deliverables.
- Develop and execute custom analytic and modeling projects using advanced analytical tools and techniques.
- Perform geospatial analysis to provide insight into resource usage around branch locations, fleet utilization, and optimal sites for customer interactions like travel shows or driving school locations.
- Develop and execute member value analytics like lifetime value, MRM index, or member net present value.
- Perform product and purchase usage analysis to identify highly targeted groups for club initiatives within a single or across a multi-business area (travel, financial services, aaa.com, retail, memberships, etc.).
Key Result Areas:- Analytical Services: Identify enhanced analytical or additional consulting services to improve client performance or strengthen business initiatives.
- Data Management Services: Identify new data sources or increase the refresh frequency of data.
- MRM Technology: Identify opportunities to add value by leveraging Action Center Tools like Member Engagement Platform, Direct Focus, Connect Suite, ESRI, or Modeler.
Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications:- Strong written, communication, time management, and organizational skills required.
- Strong relationship management skills and experience; able to present a track record of influencing internal and/or external clients to act on recommendations
- Proven ability to perform in-depth data analysis and to report and present strategies and recommendations to business units.
- Advanced organizational skills and project management experience, including the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects independently in varying stages of development and incorporating varying development strategies.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to train users on tool sets.
- Excellent presentation skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
- Regular travel to AAA clubs (< 5% of time),
Education & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in quantitative analysis, marketing, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- 5 plus years experience in database marketing analysis, preferably with a multi-channel retailer.
- 2 plus years experience in e-marketing platforms (preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Prior work experience using advanced data mining tools like SAS SPSS and querying large amounts of data from data warehouses using SQL.
Hiring Range:- $68,000 - $81,000
- This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
