TURION is seeking a Cloud & Simulation Architect to join our team in Irvine, CA and accelerate the deployment of our on-demand space mobility services. As a Cloud & Sim Architect you will play a pivotal role by shaping and implementing our technology strategy to meet the evolving needs of the space industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient IT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain an IT architecture strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy, ensuring that technology investments support business objectives.
- System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud apps and simulation modules, considering factors such as performance, reliability, and cost.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to understand business needs and drive the development of technology solutions that meet those needs.
- Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce IT architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending adoption where appropriate.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT architectures, processes, and solutions.
- Governance: Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure that IT solutions align with architectural guidelines and standards.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Turion.
