Role Summary
The Retirement Plan Services(RPS) Lead Client Relationship Manager role is accountable for delivering proactive, consultative client service and strategic account management to a portfolio of large, highly complex institutional defined contribution client relationships, with the objective of driving client satisfaction and retention, aligning T. Rowe Price's solutions to meet client needs of assigned relationships, managing the economic health of each relationship, and supporting the growth the business.
Responsibilities:
Promotes firm services and offerings to assigned clients based on understanding of clients' objectives.
Develops and maintains business plans to achieve objectives for each client relationship and their assigned portfolio.
Strengthen relationships with the decision-makers in the client’s Human Resources and Treasury organizations, including the Retirement and Investment Committees, “C” suite executives, and external consultants and advisors.
Identifies opportunities to promote products and services that may span across multiple segments/channels, that align to the best interests of the client and the firm.
Consults with clients on investment vehicles, participant services and plan design solutions that will enhance the client’s plan design and maximize the retirement benefit offered to their employees.
Support clients in managing their fiduciary responsibilities by consulting on legislative and regulatory developments, reviewing the investment options offered in the plan, and monitoring of plan related fees.
Serves as an expert on best practices, new regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings throughout the client service function. Contributes to developing recommendations on how to integrate these developments into process or policy changes.
Identifies vulnerable client relationships, assessing the degree of vulnerability, and leveraging the firm’s internal resources and organization to develop and execute a retention strategy.
Partners with internal resources to lead “rebid” situations and execute a client-specific strategy in order to maximize client retention and capitalize on opportunities to expand the relationship.
Supports RPS Sales in the acquisition of new business relationships.

Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for full time remote work, preference to be based on east coast or mid-west regions.
Regional Requirements:
Base salary range:
$102,000 - $185,000 USD for the locations of: Colorado, California, New York and the State of Washington
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
