Summary: The Technical Sales internship will focus on servicing customers in a technical sales environment. The ideal candidate is currently in a mechanical-or construction-oriented curriculum with expected graduation date of December 2024 or later and has interest in being a Sales Engineer. This position is an onsite role available for full time in Summer 2024.
Job Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with Engineering team to generate AutoCad driven submittals and detailed proposals.
Processing jobs for production via our computerized information system
Subcontracting and coordinating buyouts for fire suppression. Installations
Coordination of equipment start-ups
Work with accounting department to provide documentation to pay invoices.
Sales proposal generation and additional customer service support to customers (some regions allow this more than others)
NOTE: Excellent performance may lead to direct sales, field service or other engineering opportunities upon graduation.
Qualifications:

Ideal candidate is in a mechanical- or construction-oriented curriculum with expected graduation date of December 2024 or later
Knowledge of HVAC a plus
Must possess excellent technical skills in AutoCAD
Must have good organizational, communication and presentation skills and a strong desire to serve the customer.
Salary:
Competitive hourly pay ranging in $20-25/hr.
