The Account Manager role is complex and exciting! It’s also fast-paced and will keep you on your toes. It’s not for everyone, but if it’s for you, it’s REALLY for you. If you’ve worked the #agencylife before and thrived in it, then we are off to a good start. Read on!
The Shelf is a full-service influencer marketing agency with our own proprietary SaaS platform. We use our in-house software to plan, execute, manage and optimize our clients’ influencer marketing campaigns start to finish. The “start to finish” is where you come in, because you will be in charge of running campaigns for a set of our clients. Think Instagram reels, Tiktok challenges, and Pinterest pins, oh my.
This is a remote position. If your brain just registered “remote” as easy peasy lemon squeezy, then maybe check out Upwork instead. You will be working during typical business hours remotely and interacting virtually with our team and clients on the regular so get ready for some facetime on Google Hangouts! Despite this being a remote position, our expectations are no different than if we had an office. We are a small team and each person’s efforts are crucial to our success. We care about our clients and ask that you bring that same level of care to the table. If you are someone who takes initiative, loves all things influencer marketing, and knows how to WOW a client, then The Shelf might be your next home.
REQUIREMENT: The Shelf is a fast-paced agency environment. We’re seeking individuals who come with 3-5+ years of agency experience. You must be comfortable in a client-facing role too.
What you’ll be in charge of:
- Managing and running anywhere from 3-6+ campaigns
- Liaising as the main POC between your assigned clients, influencers, and internal stakeholders
- Running weekly meetings with your clients (alongside a Senior manager) to ensure the campaigns stay on track
- Writing campaign briefs

- Collecting metrics and handling reporting with the client throughout the campaign + a final presentation/report - if you’re skilled on the reporting side it’s a HUGE plus
