Gen AI Prompt Engineer - Natural Language to SQL Conversion (Contract - Full Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Prompt Engineering: Craft prompts for the LLM that effectively convert user-generated natural language queries into corresponding SQL statements.
Client Integration: Incorporate client-specific information, such as database schema and business rules, into the prompts to enhance the generated SQL’s accuracy and relevance.
Pipeline Development: Design and implement a semi-automated pipeline to test the effectiveness of the prompts using historical examples of natural language queries and their corresponding SQL outputs.
Collaboration: Work closely with Infosys Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) familiar with the database structure to evaluate and iteratively improve the generated SQL code.
Stay Informed: Continuously learn and apply the latest advancements in Gen AI prompt engineering and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in prompt engineering for large language models. (Minimum 6 months )
A strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
Solid knowledge of SQL syntax and database querying techniques.
Experience working with Generative AI models ( e.g., GPT-3.5,Gemini) is a plus.
Experience in developing and implementing automated testing pipelines is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
