Corporate Business Development Admin MNS Engineers, Inc. MNS is hiring a Business Development Specialist for its California offices. This position has the option of being remote (with the ability to be in an office when necessary), or a having a hybrid work schedule with days in one of the nine Central Coast the office and days at home.
SUMMARY OF POSITIONShared role between Business Development and Corporate Administration. Business Development: under supervision, coordinate numerous administrative tasks related to compiling, organizing, and producing materials to be used in business development and presentations; assist in data entry and management of data in Deltek VantagePoint CRM system; manage company promotional items, sponsorship, tradeshow and membership support. Assist the Business Development Director as directed to coordinate events and related business development activities. Provide administrative and logistical support for the company and assisting all departments in administrative and operational tasks with direct supervision. This position will be hybrid with a minimum of one day per week in our Riverside office.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Business Development Administration:- Fulfill general requests for business development materials, including bios, practice descriptions and brochures, on capabilities and respond to all inquiries as they relate to business development.
- Maintain inventory of business development marketing materials. Ensure current and relevant materials by utilizing the current database of practice descriptions, client lists, and manager biographies
- Input project pursuits and assist with data quality, reporting and analysis, including input of company information
- Develop and maintain mailing lists, contact lists and client profiles using the firm's CRM and other database tools
- Track proposals and business development opportunities and provide regular reporting. Follow-up with Supervisor as directed to track wins, losses, and ROI
- Coordinate the production of client follow up materials and promotional items/products as requested by Supervisor and Managers from various departments
- Assist in the planning and execution of practice related client events/seminars, conferences, trade shows and other firm sponsored events. Tasks include developing action plans, coordinating the invitation and RSVP lists; coordinating sponsorship ads, marketing materials, registrations (for events, hotels, travel, etc.)
- Coordinate the purchase and ordering of company-branded promotional items and clothing; track inventory
- Coordinate, register, and track company sponsorships, memberships, and association meetings as directed by supervisor
Corporate Administration: - Provide administrative support at other offices as assigned
- Process incoming correspondence and packages
- Prepare outgoing mail and shipments and deliver to shipping service locations as required
- Copy and distribute internal reports/documents as requested
- Type, edit and format Word and Excel documents at an Intermediate level and according to MNS standards
- Download survey proposal bid documents as assigned
- Track and order office supplies as needed to stay ahead of demand for supplies across multiple office locations; review and approve invoices of same
Minimum Experience Required: - 4 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar
- Additional experience with Deltek Vision/VantagePoint or similar CRM software a plus
