Job Summary
Directs all marketing, media relations, and public relations projects relevant to the FIU Online client-driven creative development strategy for marketing and digital content development. Reports to the Senior Director, Marketing & Digital Content Strategy. The Senior Marketing Account Manager contributes directly to the University's mission and goals for advancing the Online Program Experience (OPX), targeted growth within the online portfolio, and brand awareness for FIU and FIU Online as national leaders in online education.
- Acts as the lead FIU Online point of contact in collaborating with FIU academic and administrative units to develop and execute client-driven marketing and communications creative in alignment with the unit and university goals and vision for program representation.
- Facilitates client-driven creative development sessions with specified academic units.
- Coordinates the creative efforts for Art, Editing, and Multimedia to deliver on the vision developed with academic units for advertisement, brand placement, marketing campaigns, and digital content in alignment FIU Online and University goals for the online program portfolio and assigned campaigns. Communicates feedback and serves as an internal consultant for creative development.
- Advocates for alignment of all marketing campaigns and communications with University strategy, brand standards, and External Relations guidance.
- Facilitates development of news stories, student ambassador and faculty spotlights, program showcases, and other program-specific collateral in partnership with the FIU Online Content Creation Team and academic units.
- Maintains frequent communication with academic and administrative officers of assigned account units University-wide. Maintains rapport with all levels of personnel and external constituencies.
- Handles confidential matters concerning FIU Online and its partnerships with academic units relevant to the online portfolio.
- Interprets information/publications administrative rules and policies; recommends new and improved strategies or campaign efforts to effectively manage performance marketing and achieve established targets.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media/Public Relations, Communications, or related degree and five (5) years of experience in a related field.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with creative teams and clients or stakeholder groups to develop and execute performance marketing campaigns.
