About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales Engineering to strategically and tactically lead the Sales Engineering organization in direct alignment with the company's Go-To-Market strategy. The role involves providing market and customer intelligence to the Product organization, driving technical excellence, solution outcomes, and enablement to Customers and Channel partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for field readiness programs, operational excellence, metrics, KPI management, and continuous leadership efforts to attract, develop, motivate, and transform the SE teams. Collaboration with leaders from various departments, including Engineering, Customer Success, Product Management, Marketing, and Professional Services, is essential to provide market and customer insights and ensure SE enablement programs are focused on transforming SE performance.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of global Sales Engineering leadership experience in the enterprise SaaS sector, with a track record of managing teams of at least 50+ people. A hands-on, lead-from-the-front management style is required, along with a history of consultative solution selling and a focus on customer success. Technical savvy and the ability to communicate the value of the platform and solutions to customers, partners, and SE teams are essential. Experience in security software is preferred, and the role requires global travel. The ideal candidate will have a disciplined, technically deep sales engineering background and an open, honest, and collaborative people leadership style.
