Core Responsibilities:- Strategic Sales Development: Forge a sales strategy and go-to-market approach tailored for account-based territory with a sharp focus on new business acquisition.
- C-Suite Engagement: Direct your sales efforts at senior management, including Directors, VPs, and C-level executives within R&D, Innovation, Marketing, Insights and Corporate Venturing, presenting the unmatched value Lux Research brings.
- Pipeline Precision: Maintain a meticulously accurate sales pipeline, large enough to guarantee quarterly quota achievements through self-sourced opportunities, all while keeping pipeline details up-to-date in the Lux CRM system (Salesforce).
- Intelligence Mastery: Achieve a deep understanding of Lux Research's primary research and professional services offerings, positioning yourself as a critical strategic resource for the world's top innovation leaders.
- Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with Business Development Representatives, Client Experience Managers, and Lux Experts to ensure a seamless and impactful client journey.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:- Over 5 years of proven excellence in sales with a keen focus on new client acquisition.
- A BA/BS Degree as a testament to your foundational knowledge.
- A background marked by research/consulting sales, especially within B2B contexts.
- A "hunter" mindset with adeptness in solutions selling, targeting new business acquisition, and meeting sales targets.
- Experienced in nurturing a sales pipeline with multi-stage opportunities and managing contracts valued at $100K+.
- A passion for sustainability and solving for climate change.
Desired Qualifications:- An MBA or equivalent for enhanced business insight.
- A consultative selling approach, with formal training in methodologies such as Miller-Heiman Complex Sales or Challenger Selling highly regarded.
