POSITION SUMMARY: The National Account and Business Development Manager develops and implements strategic plans to increase volume and share of Tampico products across three (3) national accounts. This position calls on multiple levels of management within Accounts such as headquarters, divisional, and district. The National Account and Business Development Manager will be responsible for understanding market insights, chain specific volume insights, forecasting & supply chain. This role is also responsible for Tampico Hard Punch relationship with the licensee. The National Accounts and Business Development Manager reports into the National Accounts Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design, prepare and present programs to enhance sales with each licensee & distributor.
- Develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels to implement and execute strategic initiatives.
- Conduct business reviews to develop opportunities that drive sales.
- Develop Annual Operations Plan for Hard Punch licensee relationship.
- Communicate and coordinate field activation within Tampico network to ensure program execution.
- Work with Tampico Regional & Area Managers independently in selling displays, racks & merchandising product.
- Develop annual strategic growth plans aimed at increasing share and driving strategically important corporate objectives at assigned major accounts.
- Forecast volume and update promotional templates and roadmaps monthly.
QUALIFICATIONS: - 7+ years of experience working with retailers, CPG experience preferred but not required.
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work in an unstructured, ever changing environment.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to interact at all levels within the organization.
- Bilingual in Spanish - preferred.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Salesforce and or Power Bi preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Desired place of Residence: Dallas, Houston, Texas or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
