The Key Account Manager at Dynapower is responsible for providing sales and process leadership while supporting the Renewables Segment Manager in all aspects of the sales process, including managing inbound inquiries, writing proposals, interfacing with applications engineering on pricing and system design and organizing project hand-off documentation.
General Responsibilities• Key participant in selling the organization's products or services to, and maintains relationships with, typically one to three existing key country accounts.
• Collaborates on sales activities for assigned named country accounts, rather than an assigned territory.
• Point-of-contact for sales managers for account regardless of account's geographic location.
• Collaborates on expansion and development on a global or international account and providing customer service
• Organizes strategies for strategic accounts and ensures the strategy is executed.
Experience / Qualifications• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Additional Responsibilities• Responsible for assembling and writing quotes using Dynapower's tools and processes.
• Provides input to Segment Manager regarding growth, marketing and product positioning strategies
• Ensures project documentation is complete prior to order entry.
Additional Experience• Work experience from a power electronics and/or renewable energy equipment manufacturer preferred.
