The ideal candidate will be responsible for...
- Assisting with planning, implementing, and managing new business or cross-marketing initiatives. Developing and managing projects in support of initiatives.
- Creating new business proposals, gathering relevant experience, performing related research, drafting responses, securing internal approvals, and liaising with other stakeholders.
- Conducting client research in conjunction with Marketing Intelligence team. Making recommendations regarding business development opportunities.
- Facilitating the development of content for rankings submissions and other profile-raising opportunities.
- Preparing various marketing reports via CRM (InterAction); maintaining spreadsheets, project lists and event/project plans ensuring information is current.
- Reviewing and editing email marketing content, ensuring compliance with firm policies and standards; managing the distribution of content. Providing analysis on readership, lead generation and best practices.
- Identifying and securing speaking opportunities for division attorneys by monitoring event calendars, trade and legal publications and business news. Ensuring recommendations align with practice group goals.
- Communicating event strategy and goals to events team. Liaising with events and communications team on logistics and materials requirements.

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably at a law firm or similar professional services environment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
- The ability to develop, implement and track results of short/long-term business development plans.
- Experience preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and pitches.
- The capacity to manage large internal and external events from developing theme to post-event analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with databases and PC applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required.
- Working knowledge of website database/technology, intranet database/technology and mass e-mail distribution software.
