We expect our sales team to be experts on our product lines and the conditions the drugs have been developed to treat. As part of our Sales Training team, you will be helping them to anticipate and answer questions about Pfizer products and develop their knowledge to highlight their benefits. In this role, you will have the critical job in helping our front line in understanding and communicating our pro-innovation and pro-patient policies to make our products available to as many patients and providers as possible.
What You Will Achieve
You will help Pfizer provide support to sales representatives (sales staff and sales management) and channel partners by developing, planning and conducting training on techniques of selling the organization's products and services. You will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that focus on sales techniques and presentations, product information, group referencing and role play. You may also work with product managers or marketing teams to develop a sales strategy and incorporate this strategy into the training programs.
As a Manager, you provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements and providing areas of improvement for products, processes, or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, you will also work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams.

How You Will Achieve It
- Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division.
- Develop, design and deliver brands, skills, systems and tools training interventions for customer-facing commercial colleagues using multiple and mixed methods to engage the modern learner.
- Ensure business requirements are met through development and execution of customer facing training services that are efficient and valued, while also monitoring budget.
- Ensure compliance of training content/activities and approval system is followed with the proper documentation in place.
- Master the application of multiple delivery modalities to effectively deliver training programs that address identified capability needs within budget.
- Coordinate brand trainings with subject matter experts (Medical and Marketing).
- Set performance standards and establish/document training certification process to ensure all trainees are certified on critical capabilities that enable them to manage successful customer facing interactions.
- Make use of training evaluation tools and partner with the business to discuss training metrics, outcomes and generate insights for continuous improvement.
- Establish regular touch points to discuss field coaching observations and accordingly build/implement the appropriate training sustainability solutions.
- Track training Interventions using multiple modalities and tools (Face-to-face, WebEx/Virtual, Social Learning, Micro-Learning, etc.)
- Work closely with product managers or a marketing team to develop a sales strategy and then incorporates this strategy into the training program.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal skills, including interpersonal communication.
- Experience developing and conducting training programs.
- Successful training delivery experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and strong competency with tools.
- Note: Tools to be added by Hiring Manager.
- Strong project management, interpersonal and consultative partnering skills.
- Fast learning and adapt to change
Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Demonstrated experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to plan, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work in a matrix structure.
- Experience in managing stakeholders in a face-to-face and virtual environment.
