Job Description
Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Staff SW Test Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to Design and implement test solutions with highest quality using agile tools & methodologies. Responsible for white box testing and automation. Support continuous integration processes and system deployments. Write test plans and test cases. Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for improved software development. Troubleshoot critical defects in software coding. Implement test frameworks on web, mobile platform or service-oriented architectures. Work closely with the QE/Developers/Product leads to achieve a high level of Unit & Test coverage. Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and evolving environment, to drive delivery of solutions while influencing cultural change. Provide guidance to QA technology groups in their development of design artifacts and Quality Assurance test plans. Work with agile life cycle and/or tracking and process management tools, e.g. Rally, JIRA. Position reports to the employer’s Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Staff SW Test engineer related occupation.

SALARY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $111,779.00 USD to $170,600.00 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
