Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for an Entry-level, Associate, or Experienced 737 Program Quality Engineer (level 1, 2, or 3) based out of Renton, WA and Everett, WA to support the 737 Program. The selected candidates will train in Renton, but may be selected to support the Everett, WA location.
The Quality Engineering (QE) team on the 737 Program is looking for talented engineers to join our team both in Renton and the introduction of the 737 North Line in Everett. Quality Engineers support existing production through process improvement techniques involving defect reduction, verification of system design, and ensuring compliance to engineering requirements. Our quality engineers get involved in complex engineering and production challenges and have a critical role in the continuous improvement of our quality management system, products and production system.

Position Responsibilities:
- Integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
- Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
- Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in conducting a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) associated with a complex technical issue
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through diverse approaches
- Experience with Engineering and Change Processes
- Experience leading cross-functional teams

Entry-Level (level 1):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Associate (level 2) :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Entry: $64,600- $87,400
Summary pay range for Associate: $78,200 - $105,800
Summary pay range for Experienced: $93,350 - $127,650
