Red Ventures is seeking a talented, result-oriented, and innovative Golang Engineer to join our MYMOVE business in Charlotte, NC. As a Golang Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building backend services that power the MYMOVE business. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems and infrastructure using the Go programming language. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our moving platform. What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Golang applications hosted on the cloud
- Build applications that can handle the scale and growth of our business
- Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality software development
- Optimize and enhance existing backend systems for improved performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders to identify innovative solutions to drive the growth of the MYMOVE business
- Work with various technologies including Golang, relational databases, AWS ECS and Lambda, Terraform and custom integrations
- Maintain curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your colleagues through self-study and professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Go programming and backend development, and apply them to enhance our systems
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Production experience with Golang
- Knowledge of modern frontend JavaScript, such as Vue, React, and Angular
- Deep knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience architecting and building APIs

- Experience and exposure to DevOps cultures and practices, such as infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, and continuous delivery

Compensation
- Cash Compensation Range: $90,000 - 130,000*
*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
