Internship Overview:
The Engineering team at Willow is responsible for researching, designing, and developing innovative solutions for maternal health and breastfeeding. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is interested in women’s health and FemTech, to join us in creating products that re-define the mom-experience. You will gain technical experience supporting connected medical and consumer products, and partner closely with multiple engineering teams from the beginning (concept) to the end (field returns) of a product life cycle. You will also have the opportunity to connect with other interns and dive deeper into the world of women’s health and research.

What you’ll do:
- Test and characterize new product features and design changes
- Hands-on troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical systems
- Develop, execute, and document test procedures and results
- Data analysis to evaluate product performance and reliability
- Develop and execute tests, and present results to a cross functional audience
- Design and/or qualify test fixtures and equipment
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to improve product reliability
What you’ll bring:
- Pursuing an engineering discipline in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering or equivalent
- Capable of driving forward deliverables with minimal guidance
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Ability to use statistical tools and apply engineering concepts to failure analysis
- Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
- Experience with programming (MATLAB or Python) is a plus
- Dynamic engineer with a “can do” attitude and hunger to learn
Additional Information
Willow takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the successful candidate’s location, job-related skills, experience, and qualifications. We regularly review and update our pay ranges and therefore, these ranges may be modified in the future.
Bay Area: $20.00- $28.00/hr
