Internship Overview:
The Engineering team at Willow is responsible for researching, designing, and developing innovative solutions for maternal health and breastfeeding. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is interested in women’s health and FemTech, to join us in creating products that re-define the mom-experience. You will partner with the Product, Mechanical, Firmware, Quality and Manufacturing teams to explore new technologies, prototype and evaluate new product features, and understand how customers use our product.

What you'll do:
- Design and prototype test fixtures, clinical models, and new product features through 3D printing, machining and casting
- Develop and execute tests, and present results to a cross functional audience
- Troubleshoot failures to identify product improvement opportunities
- Analyze and document test data to support clinical studies and FDA submissions
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to explore new product concepts
What you'll bring:
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or equivalent
- Enthusiasm and willingness to get hands dirty in mechanical shop / lab / testing environment, machine shop experience a plus
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Capable of navigating ambiguity and creating new ways of doing things
- Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Dynamic engineer with a “can do” attitude and hunger to learn
- Familiarity with 3D CAD a plus

Willow takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the successful candidate’s location, job-related skills, experience, and qualifications. We regularly review and update our pay ranges and therefore, these ranges may be modified in the future.
Bay Area: $20.00-$28.00/hr
