What you'll do...
The Internship
Held over an 11-week period during the summer of 2024 for students graduating between December 2024 and August 2025. The paid internship will prepare associates for a career with Data Ventures. Work on a meaningful project, network with industry experts, and develop your skills at the Fortune 1 as you explore Northwest Arkansas at our HQ!
The Walmart Data Ventures team exists to unlock the full value of Walmart’s data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, we’re seeking entrepreneurial individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.
Working cross-functionally with all cross functional members of our team — research, product management, engineering, data science, and data analytics — to deliver successful products in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
A strong designpoint of view that uses the best of our design system and influences its evolution. You practice universal design and believe in inclusion.
A maker mindset. You are nimble and use the right tool for the job — facilitation, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, diagrams, demos — to drive understanding and create a compelling vision.
Balance of creative and analytical thinking — you create and leverage strong feedback loops and usage data to inform design decisions
Ability to produce great work in short timeframes, multi-task across different projects and platforms, and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an Undergrad or Master's degree program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2024-August 2025
- 0-2 years of full-time relevant experience
