We are seeking an energetic, responsible Summer Intern to join our Mobile B2B Sales organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures within the B2B PC business, which is a semi-startup within the Samsung Electronics America (SEA) B2B organization. The Intern’s responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Role and Responsibilities
- Product management (B2B Galaxy Book portfolio)
- Product Go-to-Market (GTM) development
- Development of offer/program constructs
- Development of use cases
Internship Project
Objective: Define a market strategy for Personal Computer (PC) new growth areas.
- Develop market entry plan (top features, pricing, 4P, etc.) for 1000-2000 seats market. Requires – 4P, STP, etc.
- Gather market analysis of companies that deploy competing premium PCs and identify reasons why the customers choose competing PCs over Samsung Galaxy Books.
- Develop market entry plan (top features, pricing, 4P, etc.) for a Higher Education segment and identify how to go after business and legal schools, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Students must be enrolled in an accredited University working towards a Bachelors or Master’s program
- Student must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills (develop pivot tables, if-then analysis, simulations, etc.)
- Adept at use of Microsoft PowerPoint to develop executive presentations and effectively present to stakeholders
- Experience with Business case development and experience with PRD/MRD (product requests document, market request document)
- Ability to document and present concepts
- Strong analytical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration skills to drive objectives (interaction with Samsung stakeholders, partners, customers)
- Host/conduct meetings with cross-functional stakeholders and socialize meeting notes
