Job Description:
- Lead the development, optimization, and scaling of production-worthy processes for mass transferring MicroLEDs to active backplanes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technology requirements into scalable manufacturing processes.
- Design and implement methodologies for efficient and precise mass transfer of MicroLEDs, ensuring high yield and reliability.
- Conduct experiments, analyze data, and provide recommendations for process improvements and technology enhancements.
- Establish process control measures and quality standards to ensure consistent and high-quality mass transfer operations.
- Work closely with equipment suppliers and R&D teams to evaluate, select, and integrate cutting-edge technologies into the mass transfer process.
- Develop documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process guidelines, to support the transfer of technology to high-volume manufacturing.
- Continuously research and stay abreast of advancements in MicroLED technology and manufacturing techniques to propose and integrate innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to evaluate, select, and implement new technologies or tools for process enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in process development, specifically in mass transfer of MicroLEDs or similar semiconductor technologies preferred.
- Expertise in microfabrication techniques, precision alignment, and transfer printing methodologies.
- Proficient in process optimization, statistical analysis, and manufacturing principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of innovative technology development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

U.S. Salary Range:
$120,000.00 - $165,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
