Senior Director Engineering Technical Strategy
Location: Minneapolis, Boston
Insight on your impact:
· Work with chief architect and CTO on key technical priorities
· Aligning product and engineering around technical strategy
· Long term architecture strategy focusing on our Core IP areas
· Engaging engineering leadership and architect community around technical strategy
· Driving technical vitality in our engineering and product teams
· Evangelist and passion for Financial planning, sales performance management and supply chain applications that our customers build.
· Backlog health and helping teams develop technical roadmap items - white papers, 2 pagers, Jira epics
· Grow a technical product owner mindset across Anaplan product and technology organization
· Help drive customer satisfaction and resolution to key escalations
· Engaging customers around Anaplan technical strategy
· Collaborating with our application teams and product owners to ensure technical strategy is prioritizing Apps
· Understanding our AI and BI roadmaps and ensuring our technical strategy and roadmap is delivering what is required.
Your qualifications, your influence:
· 15+ years of experience in relevant experience
· Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field required
· Previous experience working at an enterprise scale Saas company in a cross functional environment
· Strong domain knowledge and experience in financial planning and analytics domain – including sales performance management and supply chain planning
· Experience of the managing engineering teams and technology projects across the following types of technologies – Java, Rust, K8s, Containers, OLAP query APIs, Python, Semantic layers And Business Intelligence tools.
· Experience of planning platforms and building and deploying reusable applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Additional specific experience in financial planning and analytics domain
· Master’s or PhD
· Expert level knowledge in large scale in memory computational modeling and calculation engines
