About the Role:
Augmedix is searching for a skilled Junior QA Engineer to enhance support for several of our products. As a Junior QA Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic Quality Assurance team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge healthcare applications that redefine industry standards. This role conducts primarily manual testing on all of our products and features. This role will occasionally work evenings and nights, 5 PM - 1 AM PST. Its great for someone eager to learn and grow within QA and other engineering disciplines. Responsibilities
- Manage and execute manual test cases and scenarios
- Collaborate on test planning and execution with cross-functional teams
- Planning product and feature testing - assist in story estimates
- Curates data for repeatable testing
- Validation of test results
- Conducting API and UI testing to ensure software functionality and user experience
- Mobile testing for iOS and Android applications
- Demonstrate understanding of SDLC and align testing activities with project timelines
Requirements
- Must be able to occasionally work night shift of 5PM - 1 AM PST
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, Coding Bootcamp Certificate or combination of education and related experience
- 1+ years experience in Manual QA testing
- Understanding of basics of Python programming
- Desire to learn and grow and find solutions to challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with API testing principles (Python or Postman)
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in Manual Testing with exposure to Automated TestingExperience with Selenium for web application testingCloud platform knowledge, preferably AWS and GCP
