Product intro:
API Exploration is the newest tool which will form a part of a larger API Platform strategy. API Exploration allows users to interact with REST APIs and Kafka services (gRPC, GraphQL and others in the future). With our application, user can:
- Explore APIs / web services and work with endpoints;
- Quickly review the return values from API calls;
- Experiment with different parameters;
- Save Endpoints into an API bucket for easy access;
- See the raw byte stream returned by a call;
- Publish and subscribe with Kafka.

About the role:
As a Back End Engineer you will work on a completely new unannounced product in an international team, the first of its kind, to be used by developers around the world exploring REST, Kafka, gRPC, GraphQL and more.
As a part of a collaborative team, you will develop a set of Java micro services for the underlying SPA application, write testable clean code and work with modern agile development methodologies like BDD.
- Implementing new functionality in close cooperation with stakeholders.
- Build well designed, clean applications with solid technical foundations.
- Participate in design and code reviews, develop, debug, or modify source code and unit tests.
- Create and maintain technical and support documentation.
- Work within a collaborative team of developers, testers, UX designers, and more, geographically spread across our different locations
- Engage in peer design and code reviews
We are looking for you if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering in Java – we use Java 17.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, and writing maintainable code with SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, WebSockets (with STOMP), Kubernetes (Helm), Docker.
- Deep insight into relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Software engineering knowledge (problem solving, algorithms) and modern software engineering practices (writing tests, clean code etc)
- English on at least B2 level.
