Job Description
Who are we:
- We connect the whole DTAG group, national and international
- We, the service Service Hub NETS (Network and Enhanced Transporting Services), connect clients with applications, the home office with the Corporate Network DTAG (CN DTAG) as well as internal and public networks.
- We take responsibility for the CN DTAG with its more than 1,300 locations and the network-infrastructure necessary for that.
- We guarantee for all international DTAG affiliates over global networks being associated with each other and also with our central services in Germany.
- We operate solutions for the access of third parties, the mail backbone and ensure access over central gateways to cloud services like Microsoft O365, CISCO WebEx Teams or Microsoft Azure.
Qualifications
We are looking for
- a passionate, open-minded colleague, preferably with senior competence in the network services DNS & DHCP & IPAM (DDI), RADIUS, who focuses on our national/international DTAG internal customers and their needs and enjoys their own has freedom to design the future corporate DTAG network!
- DDI design, automation, development, transformation and operation of decoupled infrastructure and cloud solutions appeal to you. Working in virtualized/cloudified environments and in the prem infrastructure has been part of your daily business so far, then you are in our service -Hub NETS team spot on.
- You will become part of our “Network Services” service team, which, together with the other teams of the Service HUB NETS, drives the transformation of the corporate network for Deutsche Telekom worldwide, regardless of local, virtualized or cloudified data flow, with a focus on DNS, DHCP, IPAM, RADIUS , NTP, NOAH/NEO and TSINET edited.
- As an ideal candidate, you should have a mix of strong technical skills and good business acumen that you can apply in your daily work.

You should bring this with you:
- Network knowledge, especially regarding DNS, DHCP, IPAM, RADIUS Agile mindset and enthusiasm for agile methods and their communication

- Willingness to participate in the strategic development of the infrastructure for which the team is responsible
- Customer focus
- Experience in developing concepts/measures for the constant optimization of all technical processes and interfaces.

Your tasks:
- Ensuring the operation of the infrastructure using DevOps methodologies.
- Participation in building our new DNS/DHCP infrastructure solution (Infoblox)
- Participation in the automation of our infrastructure solutions
- Carrying out performance analysis and tuning as well as error analysis and fixes
- Participation in development, quality assurance during development as well as planning and implementation of product releases
- Carrying out tests including technical documentation
- Supporting the service team in agile transformation
- Breaking down old structures and ways of thinking - you ensure open and transparent communication
