Job Summary
As a Sales Engineer at DART, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales campaigns and exploring new business opportunities in the aerospace industry, specializing in aftermarket aircraft Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs). Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Team and Inside Sales Representatives, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market dynamics, engaging with industry experts, and establishing competitive pricing for our product portfolio. You'll also represent DART at trade shows and events, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and support customers through the installation or implementation of STCs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through in-person customer visits, supported by the Sales Team.
- Represent DART at trade shows and special events.
- Analyze market dynamics, propose new business opportunities, and establish competitive pricing for our product portfolio, including aftermarket aircraft STCs.
- Engage with industry experts and customers to gain insights into market trends.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales Representatives to process orders, handle customer inquiries, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales related technical inquiries.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients, showcasing our product portfolio and negotiating favorable sales agreements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide hands-on support and guidance during the installation or implementation of STCs, ensuring customer satisfaction and product optimization.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (proficiency in other languages is an asset)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient knowledge in aerospace; particularly with rotorcraft is a valuable asset.
- A degree or diploma in Engineering or Commerce is an asset
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
- Customer support experience is an asset.
- Mechanical design or maintenance experience (AME) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CAD and Solidworks is advantageous.
Work Conditions
