About The Role & Team
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join the Analytics Capabilities team within Amplitude. You will be part of a passionate group of engineers helping modern businesses transform their products through data.
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for partnering closely with your team’s Product Manager and Product Designer to ship best-in-class features for our Analytics product. If you’re someone who loves building user-delighting experiences, then we’d love to speak with you!
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will have:
- 4+ years of experience developing interactive, user-facing applications and websites
- Comprehensive frontend experience with React and Typescript/Javascript
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Constant desire to learn and grow in the field of web development
It’ll be helpful (not required) if you have:
- Backend experience writing web services with Node.js
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, etc.

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $167,000 - $252,000 total target cash inclusive of bonus.
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $151,000 - $226,000 total target cash inclusive of bonus.
