Our client is expanding their sales team in the CPG industry and is looking for a National Account Manager, based out of the GTA (Hybrid model)
Responsibilities:
Negotiate annual cost and merchandising programs with Category Managers and Procurement and prepare merchandising programs to be executed at company’s different banners.
Work with Demand Planner to forecast shipments with high degree of accuracy
Analyze and interpret Internal Sales, ACNielsen reports and/or customer POS data to gain total understanding of retailer’s business trends and develop actionable strategies to grow the business.
P&L ownership of categories, understand trade and drive cost efficiencies while achieving volume targets.
Achieve team metrics on volume, Net Sales, and Margin contribution for category portfolio.
Qualifications & Core Competencies:
A university degree in Business Administration.
A results-oriented Consumer Packaged Goods Sales Professional, ideally in HABA
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management and strong business analysis skills.
Effective Communication and business acumen. A relationship builder.
Computer Software Skills – Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
