NVIDIA's GPUs and SOCs are the world leaders in performance and efficiency, and we are continually innovating in creative and unique ways to improve our ability to deliver extraordinary solutions in a wide range of sectors. We are seeking versatile engineers who are passionate about what they do and are committed to making a difference in the world through their inventions. As part of NVIDIA Silicon Solutions Group, we are responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions. As a member of this team, you are responsible for developing and validating silicon system level features with a deep understanding of products needs that will get delivered to across our various businesses.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop chip and system level low power features and High Speed IO power management to address existing and new product opportunities/requirements.
Lead technical return-on-investment investigations, use case analysis, prototype, develop low power feature methodology/flow for new silicon bring-up and participate in bring-up enablement for new feature/design.
Research new architectural low power feature or industrial low power spec for next generation GPU, CPU and SOC to optimize system level performance and power features, development, and transcend product goals.
Work closely and proactively with other engineering teams such as system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW QA teams and Applications engineering teams to develop system level power management methodologies to optimize HW/SW performance and power management, drive design, development, debug and release of next generations products.
Drive new feature/spec debug from HW side and provide creative solution to deliver the feature into productization to achieve high product quality at aggressive schedule.
What We Need To See:
BS or MS degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with ASIC design, development, validation, debug in low power features and High Speed IO for perf/power optimizations and system power management.
Knowledge in High Speed IO(PCIE, USB, UFS, CXL, DDR) or chip-to-chip interconnects(UCIE, D2D) is a plus.
Knowledge in PLL/Clock, VF, DVFS is a plus.
Strong EE fundamentals, knowledgeable in digital design, computer architecture, power analysis, timing analysis, fault analysis, sampling, statistics, and scripting.
Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills.
Deep understanding of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with HW and working knowledge of PVT dependencies and binning methodologies.
Hands-on validation lab experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug and lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQ).
Experience with Python, C/C++, tool and script development, Windows and Linux OS is a plus and effective in a collaborative environment.
With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
