We are seeking a dynamic Aftermarket Sales Engineer to spearhead our strategic aftermarket initiatives in exploring untapped industrial end markets and expanding our presence in existing ones with resounding success.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional proficiency in identifying unique process drying and filtration needs within our existing markets, specifically focusing on aftermarket product sales. This candidate will exhibit a strong aptitude for building relationships, recognizing lucrative opportunities in unexplored territories, devising creative sales strategies, and effectively penetrating new target markets. Additionally, the ideal candidate must consistently conduct research, stay informed about market competition, and actively contribute to our growth in the aftermarket sector.

This position will have a home base in Springfield, Ohio.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Pursue all new leads and sales proposals for aftermarket business
- Engage in proactive prospecting efforts to generate new customers/new aftermarket business with existing customers
- Understand our customers’ technology selection process, enabling strategic positioning of our products and services to align with their requirements
- Develop key account strategies to assure a competitive position and maximize order intake
- Serve as a vital link between cross-functional teams to facilitate information transfer of new orders
- Effectively collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and other functions to manage post-sale customer relationships
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience selling aftermarket products. Experience in filtration, liquid solid separation and dryer thermal processing experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent combination of a related discipline and experience
- Demonstrated track record of aftermarket revenue growth or new market development
- Experience in pre-contract, lab testing, application engineering, post contract project engineering, mechanical design, parts, post-sale cycle
- Breadth and depth of industrial scope to expand our business capabilities
- Demonstrated capability in developing customer relationships and customer accounts
- Strong team player with the ability to work equally well across a cross-functional team
- Excels under pressure in time sensitive environments with multiple priorities
- An effective verbal and written communicator
- Able to travel up to 50%-60% (domestic and international)
