We are looking for a Senior Security Content Engineer with good understanding of security fundamentals to join our Content Engineering team. As a Senior Security Content Engineer, you will analyze and interpret security/system/application logs, and define detection rules to identify abnormal behaviors. You will collaborate with subject matter experts across different teams to build best in class detections.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of security domain experts, data scientists, software engineers and product managers to identify security threats.
- Build, deliver and support security detection content.
- Refine and extend the Exabeam Common Information Model and rule base.
- Provide subject matter expertise to help triage and resolve customer issues.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree required (M.S is preferred)
- 7+ years of working experience (or equivalent academic experience)
- 4+ working on security detection systems and detection content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Knowledge of Regular Expressions, Programming languages such as Scala, Java or Scripting languages such as Python, Shell.
- Knowledge of modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Orientation to details and good task coordination skills.
- Must be able to commute to the office once to twice a week

Base Pay Range: Bay Area Only
$140,000 - $175,000
- Range is reflective of base pay only
- Does not include variable pay
- Base pay is dependent on experience and may vary based on geography
