Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
Do you enjoy providing a positive user experience of in store technology? NFM’s Infrastructure Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. You can achieve this by designing and supporting all networks (e.g., voice, data, wireless, etc.) as well as networked software and associated operating systems. This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in one of the following states: NE, IA, MO, KS or TX.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
• Strategize: Collaborate with infrastructure staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
• Deliver: Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery
• Unravel: Working with infrastructure team, design and deploy enhancements to existing applications, operating systems and networks
• Support: Conduct research on network and systems products, services, protocols, and standards to remain current with industry trends and best practices
• Test: Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and networks; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
• Examine: Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
• Prevent: Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems with existing infrastructure

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience desired.
• 2-4 years’ experience including systems and network engineering
• Strong technical knowledge of Client/Server Operating Systems, Cloud/Print Management, Security Applications, and Networking
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 Services and Operations Management suites
• Ability to provide end user support of a variety of daily organizational operations in regard to operating systems, applications, and services (Microsoft Office, Exchange, Print, etc.)
• Administer and develop solutions in SharePoint, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
• Utilize PowerShell for system administration, automation, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Manage and administer Azure-based resources, including Azure Virtual Desktop, and handle basic Azure infrastructure tasks.
• Develop and maintain workflows using Power Automate and create custom business solutions using Power Apps.
• Understands Service Desk methodologies and ensuring that support issues are resolved or escalated within SLAs
• Collaborate effectively with team members on projects and troubleshooting efforts.
• Train and support users in effectively utilizing technology and software, enhancing their productivity and understanding
• In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and law
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
