As the Associate Sales Engineer on this team, you will support our sales engineering, sales, and customer success teams in demonstrating the value of Ribbon to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires a hybrid skill set across cross-functional collaboration, content, and data insights, and we’re looking for someone who loves simplifying complex topics and contributing to a world-class sales and marketing team!

What we’re looking for in this role
- You have experience building and navigating technical and business customer relationships and love building approaches to drive organizational value
- You are deeply empathetic to the needs of each customer stakeholder, and you build high trust relationships by understanding their needs, motivations, and challenges and by being an advocate for them
- You can clearly communicate complex technical products and translate them into value drivers for our customer’s business
- You can collaborate effectively across multiple internal teams and stakeholders
- You are a clear, concise, and credible communicator
- You are proactive and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once
- You have experience working with SQL, API-first products, and cloud-based solutions
- 2-5 years of experience working in a customer-facing role/capacity
Your day-to-day
- Build and cultivate relationships with customer stakeholders and become a trusted advisor and advocate
- Support renewal and growth initiatives within existing accounts
- Partner cross functionally to achieve customer goals and requirements
- Surface relevant input from customers that have implications for how we build and deploy our products

The base salary range for this role is between $110,000-$120,000. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
