Role Overview
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding sales team. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, helping to identify and qualify new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with our founders and marketing teams to generate leads, schedule meetings, close business, and contribute to our overall growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of eCommerce, marketing and technology, and the ability to engage prospects with compelling messaging.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify, research and target potential clients through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for our sales team by understanding the prospect’s needs and how our solutions can address them
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging and improve lead generation efforts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities in our CRM system, ensuring proper lead tracking and follow-up
- Work closely with the founders to develop and refine the sales pipeline, providing regular feedback on the quality of leads
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and generate new business leads
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and Shopify Plus features to effectively communicate the value of our services to prospects
- Prepare and present reports on lead generation activities and performance metrics to senior management
- Continuously improve your sales skills and product knowledge through training and self-directed learning

Qualifications & Experience While we prioritize potential, relevant experience is a plus. Here's what could strengthen your application:
- 1-2 years + experience in a sales or lead generation role (preferably in a tech or eCommerce environment)
- Any prior experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or SaaS sales will demonstrate your understanding of the online retail landscape
- Familiarity with Shopify and an understanding of how to engage eCommerce brands will be advantageous
- Experience with CRM tools (we use Hubspot), lead generation software, or sales automation platforms will enhance your ability to succeed in this role
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a sales environment
Compensation will be a blend of base salary and on-target earnings. To be negotiated.
