As I get older, day by day, I'm honing down on what I don't want to dabble in;
- B2C
- Free plans
- Getting volume users and inflating the user base
- Products without any sort of quantifiable market size
- No obvious pain points
I've got some many friends with B2C things, all struggling to get proper traction and more importantly what good is having 1000s of users, and zero of them paying.
You have to start at the very beginning and go deep.
Let me give you an example;
- On average, UK businesses are waiting on £7.4 billion in unpaid invoices
- On average, small businesses in the UK have to chase overdue invoices twice a week
Then you go deeper and speak to small businesses affected by this, you get the idea. These are the kinds of problems I want to solve.
