About the Role:
Cypris is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our sales team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will focus on targeting, prospecting, sourcing, and closing deals with top R&D teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software sales and a strong desire to contribute to the sales culture in an early-stage startup.
In this role, you will:
- Spearhead the growth & adoption of Cypris’s software by overachieving quarterly quotas
- Ensure transparency in revenue performance by actively managing a pipeline of opportunities and monthly forecasts
- Present and demonstrate our products and solutions to potential clients, effectively communicating their value and benefits
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent our brand and expand our reach
A Key Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in a B2B Account Executive role (5+ years), preferably within a startup or high-growth environment
- Track record of >100% quota attainment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
