Role Overview:
The National Account team is seeking an ambitious and self-directed individual to join our team as the Sales Development Representative for SDS. The SDR will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward. This inside sales role, responsible for driving revenue through lead generation and developing and qualifying opportunities with new commercial partners and customers. The position requires exceptional organization, communication and customer support skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with potential clients, showcasing the value and advantages of SDS technology.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly pipeline creation and quarterly revenue targets.
- Develop and expand relationships with channel partners and support Regional Sales Managers.
- Navigate the full sales cycle, from prospecting to online demos, proposal creation, and deal finalization.
- Demonstrate intimate knowledge of SDS products and their industry positioning.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines and provide precise forecasting.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for clients.
- Thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring both quality delivery and revenue growth.
- Attend industry association meetings and trade shows as necessary
- Co-support Alarm.com Multi-location opportunities and leads.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of technology sales experience, with a track record of exceeding quotas.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and nurture relationships.
- Comfortable speaking in front of audiences and large end-users.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A self-starter with the ability to operate independently.
- Proficiency in Salesforce is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced setting.
- Strong team orientation and a "hunter" mindset with unwavering determination.
- Willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
